NCC cadets presented guard of honour, discussed special entry schemes with him
CO of 10 Haryana Battalion, Kurukshetra Colonel Harpreet Singh visited NIT Kurukshetra where was given a grand welcome. NCC cadets presented him guard of honor. Colonel Harpreet Singh also met Prof. B.V. Ramana Reddy, Director, NIT Kurukshetra and discussed making NCC activities more effective in the institute. ANO Lieutenant Shahabuddin and NCC Officer and CTO Dr. Nidhi Gupta were also present on the occasion.
In his address, Colonel Harpreet Singh motivated the NCC cadets and told them how NCC can improve their lives and provides them opportunities for discipline, leadership and service to the nation. He gave information about Special Entry Schemes through NCC in the Indian Army and encouraged the cadets to make a career in the army.
During the event, Colonel Harpreet Singh felicitated Cadet Akshita for participating in Republic Day: Ideas and Innovation Camp 2025 and also presented her a cash prize appreciating her achievement.
At the end of the event, the NCC cadets interacted with Colonel Harpreet Singh and benefited from his guidance. This visit not only motivated the cadets but also gave them a new direction to move forward towards making their future bright through NCC.
