The DAV Sports Tournament – 2025 (Zonal Level) began today, October 4, at the Police DAV Public School, Ambala City. The program was presided over by Dr. Vikas Kohli, Principal, DAV Public School, Ambala City and Assistant Regional Director Haryana Zone. He said that games are very important and useful for children both physically and mentally… In today’s times, Sports Hold Immense Importance in Life. It Gives Athletes The Opportunity To Showcase Their Athletic Skills. Sports keep us stress-free. He congratulated all the winning children on their medals and urged them to continue participating in sports with even more hard work and dedication, bringing glory to their families, states, and the country. He explained that this competition is held nationwide under the guidance of Arya Ratna Padmashree Dr. Poonam Suri, head of DAV institutions, for the all-round development of children. This competition will run from October 4th to 5th, 2025. 500 players from D.A.V. schools of Haryana are participating in it. .
Today competitions were held for boys and girls in U-14, U- 17, U- 19 age groups. The players who will be the winners will further represent Haryana at the national level.
On this occasion, Principal Jaidev Sharma, Principal Mrs. Neeru Arora, Mrs. Jasbir, Mr. Jagtar Singh were present as observers.
