Associate NCC Officers Discuss Strategies for Youth Development

The Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh Directorate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) successfully hosted the Associate NCC Officers’ (ANOs) Conclave at Vidya Jyoti Eduversity in Chandigarh. This significant event brought together 200 ANOs from various schools and colleges, with Major General Jagdeep Singh Cheema, Additional Director General NCC, as the esteemed Chief Guest.
The ANO Conclave was aimed to provide a platform for Associate NCC Officers to discuss and refine their training strategies, leadership development, and discipline guidelines.
The conclave commenced with a welcome address by Brig. Rahul Gupta, Group Commander, who emphasized the importance of training and leadership development in NCC Officers. This was followed by a motivational session on Leadership and Personality Development conducted by Brig Bedi from the Indian Defence Academy, who inspired ANOs to mentor cadets with a strong sense of responsibility and vision.
Major General Jagdeep Singh Cheema while highlighting the crucial role of NCC in nation-building, facilitated 10 Associated NCC Officers for their dedication and contributions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. D J Singh, President of Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity, who shared unique programmes offered by the university to nurture future-ready youth.
The event demonstrated the NCC’s commitment to shaping future-ready cadets and nurturing young leaders.
