Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana appoints REPL for 122 villages water supply project

The Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Haryana has appointed REPL (Rudrabhishek Enterprises Limited) to prepare DPR for canal based water supply scheme in 122 villages of Nangal Chaudhary Assembly Constituency. The project aims to increase water supply from 40 liters per capita per day (lpcd) to 70 lpcd. These improvements will ensure continuous and effective water supply system in the area.

Mr. Pradeep Mishra, CMD, REPL said, “Haryana has long been a major agricultural hub, and access to reliable water supply is of utmost importance to rural households and farming communities. Strengthening water infrastructure through this project will not only improve drinking water availability, but also support irrigation, thereby helping to sustain agricultural productivity. Efficiency in water management is essential for Haryana to maintain its leadership in the agricultural sector and meet the demands of its growing population. REPL, with its vast experience in water infrastructure projects, especially under Jal Jeevan Mission, is well equipped to ensure effective planning and implementation of this project, which is in line with the Government’s vision to enhance rural water supply.”

Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, Head of Government Consulting, REPL said, “REPL will conduct a detailed assessment of the existing water infrastructure, design efficient water systems and implement advanced engineering solutions to strengthen the distribution network in 122 villages. We will develop a structured implementation plan that will include pipeline optimization, lifting station improvements, and electrical-mechanical integration to ensure no interruption in water supply. Our approach prioritizes sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability, which aligns with the government’s goal of improving rural water access.”

In addition to the physical infrastructure, the project also includes electrical and mechanical improvements, such as installation of motor pumps, transformers, DG sets, and high-capacity cables, to ensure no disruption in operations. Structural and design improvements will be implemented in accordance with technical standards, ensuring a long-term and sustainable water supply system that meets the growing needs of the region.

REPL has a proven track record of implementing high impact projects under various initiatives of the Government, having provided consultancy services in flagship schemes such as Smart Cities, AMRUT, Jal Jeevan Mission, PMAY and Skill India. Its major projects include GIS based Master Plan, Functional Plan on Education and Skill Development, Development Plan for Outer Ring Road and GIS based Property Tax Register.
