Today, a free medical camp for teachers was organized in the premises of Police DAV Public School, Ambala City on the occasion of International Women’s Day by the courtesy of Thyrocare Technology Limited, Polytechnic Chowk, Ambala City. Many types of tests like TSH test, lipid profile, liver function test, kidney function test, sugar, HB, iron were conducted and various consultations were provided. These tests were done by Mr. Jatin Mehndiratta, Lab Incharge Thyrocare Lab, Lovepreet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur Lab Technician.
The school principal Dr. Vikas Kohli said on this occasion that the main objective of organizing a free medical camp for teachers on the occasion of International Women’s Day is that all the teachers remain physically healthy. Only if women are completely healthy, they can work for their family and society. If we want to make a society strong, then first of all we have to make women healthy and strong. In Indian culture, women are considered to be the embodiment of power, affection and sacrifice. The most valuable wealth of life is said to be good health, if a person is healthy then there is no greater wealth than this. That is why it is also said that ‘if the body is happy then the mind is happy’.
