Plantation and distribution of plants program held at Aadesh Hospital on Van Mahotsav

Staff and students Took pledge to protect the environment

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav today, a tree plantation and distribution of plants  program was organized at Aadesh Medical College and Hospital in Mohri, with the message of environmental protection and a green future. Held on the hospital campus, Dr. Guntas Singh Gill, Managing Director and Cardiologist, along with administrative officials, medical students and staff planted various species of trees and distributed them.

 Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Guntas Singh Gill stated that trees not only enhance the beauty of the environment but also serve as the foundation for human existence. Amidst the challenges of increasing pollution and climate change, it is everyone’s responsibility to plant as many trees as possible and regularly care for them. He emphasized that Van Mahotsav is not just a one-day event, but a pledge of our responsibility towards nature. If every person plants at least one tree in his lifetime and nurtures it until it grows into a tree, future generations can enjoy a clean and safe environment. He added that Aadesh Hospital and Medical College periodically organizes programs related to social and environmental conservation, in addition to providing health services, to raise positive awareness in society.

During the program, medical students, doctors and hospital administrative staff not only planted trees but also pledged to regularly care for them. They called for environmental protection to become a public campaign and encouraged more people to plant trees. Medical Superintendent Dr. Gursatindra Singh, Dr. Naresh Jyoti, senior doctors and administrative officers were present on the occasion.
