Told Cantt SHO “I will not allow hooliganism in my city”

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij have taken strict action in the case of forcibly evacuating the house of a family living on Ambala Cantt’s Barfkhana land. On the complaint of the family, he has directed the Ambala SP to investigate the entire matter and register a case against the accused.
Mr. Vij was listening to the problems of the people of Ambala Cantonment Assembly constituency at his residence today.
Marcelino Noronha and his family members complained that they have been living here for the last 85 years. They alleged that their house was forcibly got vacated by some people by intimidation. They had also lodged a complaint in this regard at the Cantt police station on May 13, which has not been registered. On the complaint of the family, Minister Anil Vij directed the SP to take strict action.
A resident of Shivpuri Colony came with his family and told Cabinet Minister that last night he was passing near Namaste Chowk when some accused attacked him after a minor argument and injured him. He lodged a complaint with his family at the Housing Board Chowki. When he reached the Civil Hospital, the accused again attacked him. Minister got angry about the matter and reprimanded the SHO of Cantt police station present on the spot and said, “I will not allow hooliganism in my city”. He directed to immediately arrest all the accused involved in the case.
People demanded stoppage of buses in Kansapur. Similarly, many cases came up like laying of pipeline in Boh’s street, installing a new tube well in place of a damaged tube well in Mandor and many other cases on which Minister Anil Vij directed the concerned officials to take action. Officers of various departments were present on this occasion.
