Today, on 1st August, 2025, an awareness program on road safety rules was organized in Sikh Senior Secondary School by Shakti Seva Samiti and OSCA, The aim was to make the students aware of road safety rules. Shakti Seva Samiti President Jai Kumar and Organization for Social and Cultural Awareness (OSCA) founder Dr. Chandra Paul Poonia, General Secretary Harish Dutt, Organizing Director Vinod Soni, member of advisory committee Subedar Major Krishna Lal, Sardar Darbara Singh, Dhirendra Sharma, Sunil Kumar Sharma, OSCA member Tushar Sagar, drama director Professor Rajendra Mirwal were all present.
During the program the students of mass communication dept. of Government College presented a play about road safety for the students. Subedar Major Krishna Lal informed the children about the rules of the road. Experts gave detailed information on topics like rules for safe driving , traffic signals, the necessity of helmets and seat belt and not using mobile phones while driving. He said “road safety is lifesaving”.
Director of the school, Jagmeet Singh Josh thanked all students for the play. The Principal of the school, Sardarni Sukhjinder Kaur Keith also thanked all the guests. Students were honored with medals and certificates for presenting a play. The school was honored by the Shakti Seva Samiti members. All guests were honored by Sardar Jagmeet Singh Josh, students took oath to follow the road safety rules.
