Investiture ceremony of Student Council members was organized today on 2nd August 2025 at Police DAV Public School, Ambala City in the auditorium of the school. In this, batch ceremony of Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects of all the four houses from class I to class XII was conducted. Senior Captain, Vice-Captain, Cultural Captain, Sports Captain and Prefects were selected from all the houses and the batches were given to all by the Principal Dr. Vikas Kohli. Along with this, the Senior Captains of all the houses were also given sashes and house flags. All the council members took oath to cooperate in the proceedings of the session 2025-26 and to fulfill all the responsibilities and to contribute fully in the discipline and functioning of the school.
The school principal Dr. Vikas Kohli congratulated all the house captains, vice captains, cultural captains, sports captains and prefects and motivated them to perform their duties diligently. He said that if the school teaches fulfill their responsibility to its students, then tomorrow these children will build a great and advanced society. Regarding discipline, he said that first we should be disciplined ourselves and then disciplines others.
During program, the students gave a very beautiful performance on the tunes of orchestra. Gursidak had won the hearts of the audience with a very beautiful song. On this occasion, the school’s wing coordinator and all the house masters were mainly present.
